As a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol in VIRGINIA BEACH VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents respond to concerns and provide professional customer service and communication to patients visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors patients contractors and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and visitor authorization maintain visitor records and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical events and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare and laboratory-related areas parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports incident reports and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
