As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Protection in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic public transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents respond to concerns and provide outstanding customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to transit riders visitors and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned transit facilities platforms entrances surrounding perimeter areas and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas reporting suspicious conditions hazards policy violations and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or transit personnel when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership site representatives and public-facing personnel regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
