Pay Rate: $17.75 - $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors employees and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents resident or visitor concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings common areas parking locations entrances and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and maintain accurate daily activity incident and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional environment at a technology media and telecommunications location by observing conditions reporting maintenance or security-related concerns and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
