The Security Officer protects people property and assets by patrolling premises monitoring systems controlling access and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Checking in trucks Answering phones and Walking patrols

• Monitor and patrol the assigned property to prevent theft vandalism and unauthorized access.

• Control access to buildings entrances and restricted areas.

• Check identification and verify visitors employees contractors and deliveries.

• Monitor CCTV cameras alarms and other security systems.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees visitors and property.

• Respond promptly to security incidents emergencies alarms and suspicious activity.

• Prepare accurate daily activity reports incident reports and security logs.

• Enforce company security policies procedures and regulations.

• Report safety hazards suspicious behavior damaged property or security concerns to management.

• Assist during emergencies evacuations medical incidents fires and other critical situations.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.

• Prior Security Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!

• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.

• Must have strong observational skills excellent communication abilities and quick decision-making capabilities.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
