Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior exterior perimeter access points and parking areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify visitor and contractor authorization and maintain accurate visitor vehicle and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
• Help maintain awareness of conditions that may affect operations including access control concerns equipment-related alarms and environmental conditions and communicate findings to site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
