Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and utility customers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms service calls and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities buildings parking areas access points and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify visitor and contractor authorization and maintain accurate logs reports and other required documentation.
• Report observed hazards equipment concerns suspicious activity and policy violations to appropriate personnel while supporting continuity of utility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
