Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

1. Security Experience:

   • Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be documented and verifiable through previous employment or training.

2. Valid Drivers License:

   • All candidates must possess a valid drivers license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). A copy of the drivers license must be submitted as part of the application process.

3. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:

   • Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

4. Customer Service Experience:

   • A background in customer service is required (B219). Candidates should provide evidence of their experience in customer-facing roles highlighting their ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students visitors faculty staff and clients by carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor incoming calls radio traffic alarms access-control notifications and other communications; document and route requests for assistance to appropriate personnel.
• Dispatch officers and/or emergency responders to incidents service calls and critical situations maintaining calm professional communication and accurate incident logs.
• Maintain dispatch records daily activity reports incident reports and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access-control and visitor-related communications escalating unusual activity or facility concerns to designated contacts and following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
