Looking for a part-time security opportunity that works around your weekday schedule Allied Universal is hiring Part-Time Security Officers in Nashville for an exciting new security operation with opportunities to work in a DoD-cleared environment.

With multiple weekend shifts available this is a great opportunity for experienced security professionals looking for additional hours while gaining valuable experience in a high-security setting.

• $22.00/hour

• Part-Time 16 to 24 hours per week

• Friday Saturday & Sunday opportunities

• Morning afternoon evening & overnight shifts available

• DoD security clearance required/clearance eligible

• Day: 8:30 AM4:30 PM

• Specific days and hours vary by assignment

• 2 years of security experience required

• Ability to meet all requirements for the DoD security clearance process

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services safeguarding personnel property and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot bicycle or vehicle to ensure the protection of people assets and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns security breaches and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a persons stability trustworthiness reliability discretion character honesty and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associates degree or higher In Criminal Justice Business or a related field
