Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points verify credentials maintain visitor and contractor entry records and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents access-control alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the technology and communications facility including entrances parking areas and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document daily activities incidents and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
