As a Security Officer Lobby Security in Merritt Island FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in an aerospace and defense location you will welcome visitors support access control and badge processes monitor entry activity and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional secure environment while representing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and/or other guests by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a front desk location supporting aerospace and defense operations.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification processing visitor and contractor credentials maintaining visitor records and communicating entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Receive screen and direct incoming calls visitors deliveries and/or inquiries while maintaining a professional and courteous front desk presence.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate logs incident reports and other required documentation; report unusual activity access concerns and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
