As a Security Officer Identity Verification in Punta Gorda FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Access Control Officer at a government location you will help manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and maintain a professional visible presence. You will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees law enforcement personnel and members of the public while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a government law enforcement facility verify identification and authorization maintain visitor logs and direct individuals according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents access-control concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points public areas parking areas and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related incidents suspicious activity damaged property and policy violations through required documentation and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
