As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol Driver in Salem VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff and respond to security-related needs with professionalism and care. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting Allied Universals agile reliable innovative people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction access control procedures and the protection of restricted areas.
• Document incidents observations and patrol activity accurately and provide clear information to site leadership and responding personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Must have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
