As a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Sebring FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Allied Universal professional in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring onboarding and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location including entrances parking areas common areas and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity maintenance concerns and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior through a professional presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
