As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Services in Lancaster PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a university location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents support access control and provide outstanding customer service to students staff and visitors. Using computer or tablet tools you will communicate clearly report security-related concerns and contribute through teamwork integrity and Allied Universals caring culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing tracking and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications email communication and data entry.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates must have a background in customer service demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff visitors and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings residence areas parking facilities grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry suspicious activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical situations and other critical events in a calm professional problem-solving manner contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding daily activities incidents and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
