As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Accessin Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy government transportation location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents support access control and assist visitors with professionalism. You will use technology to document activity and communicate clearly while delivering exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors employees and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities public areas parking areas access points and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as directed and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner contacting appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents observations patrols and security-related activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
