As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Hospital in Baltimore MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities parking areas and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents medical-related emergencies and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction wayfinding and access control in accordance with facility policies.
• Document observations incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
