As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Specialist in Shepherdsville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will help support a welcoming environment by screening visitors monitoring access points and reporting security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access screening protocols and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering designated areas using established procedures and approved screening equipment escalating prohibited or suspicious items in accordance with site policies.
• Verify credentials visitor authorizations and access permissions before permitting entry to restricted areas within a technology media or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas entry points and the surrounding business perimeter documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
