As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Grand Rapids MI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location you will help maintain a secure welcoming environment by screening individuals and materials monitoring assigned areas and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting smooth operations. Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control protocols and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel entering the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Inspect packages bags and other items as permitted by site policy and document screening activity incidents and irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including entry points loading areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
