As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Examiner in Leesburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology location you will support access screening operations monitor entry activity and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible professional presence. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly with visitors and team members and uphold Allied Universals values of agility reliability innovation teamwork caring and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control policies and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel visitors and deliveries entering the location using established credential-verification and inspection procedures; document and report access discrepancies or prohibited items.
• Monitor entry points visitor logs screening equipment and security-related systems; escalate unusual activity policy violations and access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas including entrances perimeter zones and loading locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
