As a Security Officer Full Time Protective Screening in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Screener at a government location you will help maintain a secure welcoming environment by monitoring access points screening visitors and belongings verifying credentials and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible provide professional customer service and communicate clearly with visitors and site personnel. Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a government facility.
• Screen individuals and permitted items using designated screening equipment and procedures; identify prohibited or restricted items and follow established escalation protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs incident reports and screening-related documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter reporting unusual activity access concerns and facility hazards to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Possess a state county or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Possess CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
