As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Coordination in Sterling VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols support access control activities and respond to alarms and other security-related concerns. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while you provide professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology media and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility exterior grounds parking areas data-center-adjacent spaces and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures assisting with authorized entry processes and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete detailed activity reports incident documentation and shift communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
