As a Security Officer Full Time Screener in Miamisburg OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location you will help support a secure efficient operation by screening people packages and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence communicate professionally with team members and visitors report security-related concerns and help promote a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers visitors and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals packages and vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and document access activity as required.
• Monitor access points loading areas and other assigned locations for unusual activity prohibited items and policy violations; report observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including the business perimeter and distribution operations areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
