As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Document Screening in Leesburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology data center location you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel visitors and materials monitoring access points and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible to help deter incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Screen and verify the identity authorization and access credentials of employees contractors visitors deliveries and vendors before permitting entry to controlled areas.
• Monitor access points and screening equipment inspect permitted items in accordance with site procedures and document visitor delivery and access activity accurately.
• Respond to access concerns incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; promptly report observations to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points screening areas and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
