As a Security Officer Full Time Hotel Patrolin Bethesda MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel or resort location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents respond to alarms and support loss-prevention efforts. You will deliver welcoming customer service and clear communication to guests and staff while using technology to document activities. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests visitors and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas entrances parking areas public spaces and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents guest concerns alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor contractor and/or vendor access procedures while maintaining a welcoming hospitality-focused presence.
• Document incidents observations and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
