Security Officer Full Time Evening Shift

As a Security Officer Full Time Evening Shiftin Bethesda MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents support access control and respond to guest and team member needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents guest concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel public areas guest corridors parking areas exterior grounds and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location reporting security-related concerns and following established escalation procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity reports incident documentation and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
