As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Kansas City KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will support access screening and visitor processing while maintaining a professional welcoming presence. You will observe activity communicate clearly with employees and guests and help identify and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees visitors contractors deliveries and personal property in accordance with site policies and access-control requirements.
• Verify identification credentials appointments and authorization prior to permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor screening equipment and report prohibited items access concerns incidents and unusual activity to site leadership in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate screening logs and complete required reports while supporting a professional orderly entry process at a technology media and telecommunications location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
