Security Officer Full Time Entry Control

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Janesville WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location you will help maintain a secure welcoming environment by monitoring entry points verifying badges and visitor access and responding to security-related concerns. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity communicate professionally with employees and visitors and provide visible support that helps deter incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to store associates delivery personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points for employees vendors contractors and deliveries; verify credentials and maintain visitor and delivery logs as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas receiving docks stockrooms parking areas and the building perimeter to help identify unauthorized access unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports daily activity logs and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
