As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control Driver in Sulphur LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will help manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and use technology to document activity. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel contractors and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and authorization issue visitor passes as directed and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen vehicles deliveries and contractor access in accordance with site procedures escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established reporting and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points business areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
