As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Distribution Center in Santa Ana CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will help manage entry points verify badges and visitor access monitor activity and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring reliable team that acts with integrity. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers visitors and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific access-control policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials manage visitor and driver access and maintain accurate access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility loading areas parking areas and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Assist with the screening and direction of vehicles deliveries and personnel in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
