As a Security Officer Full Time Custody Officer - Experienced Driver in Fullerton CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government law enforcement location you will monitor activity conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and provide professional customer service to visitors and personnel. This driving position offers the opportunity to communicate clearly respond to security-related concerns and represent Allied Universals agile reliable innovative caring and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring onboarding and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors personnel and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control requirements and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents calls for assistance and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity hazards or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points verify authorized entry and maintain accurate visitor vehicle and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Communicate professionally with law enforcement personnel government employees visitors and emergency responders while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess 1 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
