As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Reception Security in Tampa FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Front Desk Officer at a government location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence while monitoring access verifying visitors responding to security-related concerns and communicating clearly with staff and the public. You will help maintain an orderly environment through strong observation and customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and members of the public at a government facility front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor entry activity verify visitor credentials as required issue visitor passes and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Answer incoming calls provide directions and general information and route inquiries to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual conditions policy violations and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
