As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrols - Day Shiftin Seattle WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers store associates and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical events and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floors receiving areas parking lots exterior entrances and perimeter areas.
• Help to deter theft unauthorized activity and policy violations through a professional armed presence observation and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
• Document incidents patrol activities and noteworthy conditions accurately; coordinate with site leadership Allied Universal management and responding law enforcement personnel when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
