As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.97 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities grounds access points and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Handle authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
