As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in CHICAGO IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment for students staff and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff visitors and/or campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical situations and critical events in a calm professional problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings academic areas residence hall exteriors parking areas walkways and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points verify credentials as required and report suspicious activity hazards damaged property and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation including patrol logs incident reports and daily activity reports while following applicable laws training requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
