As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Airport Access Controlin Costa Mesa CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols communicate professionally and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers visitors employees and airport tenants by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas parking facilities access points perimeter areas and other assigned airport property to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas verify credentials as directed and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports incident documentation and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
