As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Coordinator in New Orleans LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location you will help maintain a secure welcoming environment by managing entry points verifying badges and visitor access monitoring activity and communicating professionally with team members and guests. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while supporting a positive customer experience. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients customers and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas receiving locations offices and other designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Verify visitor vendor contractor and delivery access credentials and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location including entrances exits parking areas and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
