As a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol in East Syracuse NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents support access control and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document and report security-related activity. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities including production areas loading docks parking areas access points and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials observing visitor and contractor activity and reporting unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events accurately.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding daily activities incidents and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
