Security Officer Experienced Patrol Position

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Position in SAINT PAUL MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will respond to concerns communicate clearly and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $28.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients customers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents customer concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store parking areas entrances and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior reporting observations and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with documenting incidents completing required reports and communicating with store management and/or law enforcement as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
