As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Council Bluffs IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols communicate clearly with employees and visitors and provide exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and vendors at a technology and data infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces exterior grounds parking areas access points and perimeter areas reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials observing visitor and contractor activity and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs incident reports and shift handoffs while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the continuity of technology operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
