As a Security Officer Corrections Security in Tulsa OK you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a government corrections environment. You will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and provide professional customer service and communication. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reliable innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity while supporting security-related operations.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor reception directions and credential-related processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel public-service representatives and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Corrections Officer License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
