As a Security Officer Corrections License Holder in Tulsa OK you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Government Corrections Officer you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support orderly operations within a corrections environment. You will communicate professionally with staff and visitors document observations and use technology to complete reports. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents public inquiries and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures assisting with entry control and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports daily activity logs and other required documentation and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Corrections Officer License is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
