As a Security Officer Badge Support Patrol in Cambridge MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation integrity and a caring people-first culture.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors employees and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies access-control practices and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial office buildings common areas parking facilities and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points verify credentials as required maintain visitor and contractor records and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear accurate activity reports and communicate observations incidents and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
