As a Security Officer Armed Security Full Time Patrol in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative and integrity-driven culture.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers visitors and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at transportation facilities and transit locations.
• Respond to incidents disturbances alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner coordinating with appropriate emergency responders and transit personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities platforms parking areas vehicles and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials when required and report unauthorized access or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a government transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
