As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Computer Operator in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a critical utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents monitor access points and respond professionally to situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings parking areas access points and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify authorization as required and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering or exiting the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols incidents access-related matters and unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
