As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Antioch TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents monitor access points and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures utility location policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities access points buildings equipment areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions access concerns incidents and maintenance-related observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following applicable armed post orders and emergency protocols.
• Maintain required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts Allied Universal leadership and responding public agencies as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and/or batons is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
