As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Lynchburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to alarms and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities production areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity access concerns and hazards.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as required and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain readiness and responsible handling of assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws training and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
