As a Security Officer Armed Front Desk in Virginia Beach VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Front Desk Officer at a government location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence while helping manage visitor access responding to security-related concerns and communicating clearly with staff and guests. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and members of the public at a government office reception area by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor entry activity greet and direct visitors verify identification and appointments as required and issue visitor credentials in accordance with established procedures.
• Answer and route incoming calls provide general information and maintain a professional courteous front-desk presence.
• Respond to incidents visitor concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs incident documentation and other required records while helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
