Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees contractors and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor and control access to buildings restricted areas and parking facilities by verifying identification credentials visitor authorization and delivery documentation.
• Operate access control systems maintain accurate visitor and incident records issue and recover temporary credentials and report access discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed by site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings grounds entrances and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree in criminal justice.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
