As a Security Officer Access Desk in BOISE ID you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will monitor entry points verify credentials manage visitor access and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols communicate professionally with employees and visitors and support a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors contractors and employees while following site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points verify credentials maintain visitor and contractor entry records and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the construction location business areas access points and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and document incidents unusual activity and access-control issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
