Led by internationally acclaimed Chef Athinagoras Kostakos NAIA features vibrant mezze fresh seafood wood-grilled specialties and an expansive beverage program in a stunning indoor-outdoor waterfront setting.

NAIA is seekingSecurity Hosts who will maintain order and ensure the safety and well-being of our guests while within the bar premises. Security Hosts enforce liquor capacity and bar entry laws; monitoring the environment for security risks; and address and intervene in situations that present a danger. Candidates should be observant dependable and decisive.

What You Will Do

  • Create a positive first impression by greeting guests in a respectful and friendly manner
  • Control the flow of foot traffic into the venue to prevent overcrowding
  • Check patrons identification to ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws
  • Enforce dress codes and standards of conduct by refusing admittance to patrons who dont comply with company standards and regulations
  • Patrol and monitor the venue to identify any security threats de-escalating conflict and removing patrons who become unruly or disruptive
  • Demonstrate good judgment when addressing issues and interacting with patrons to avoid disrupting other guests experiences
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

What You Need to Have

  • 1 year(s) experience in a Security role within a fine dining establishment nightclub and/or high-volume restaurant required
  • Ability to maintain composure under periods of high stress and high volume
  • Respect for team members and guests
  • Positive attitude and friendly personality
  • Non-expired Basset Certification required
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to move bend lift carry push and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance; Stand or Walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
